Roseann Gregory Cancer Foundation Presents Check to VGTI Florida

The Roseann Gregory Cancer Foundation is pleased to announce they have given a $5,000 check to the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute (VGTI Florida).  The funds were raised during the Cancer Foundation’s gala event “A Night in Monte Carlo.”

“We are so excited to be able to contribute to the wonderful cancer research that VGTI Florida is conducting,” said Mary Melber, President of the Roseann Gregory Cancer Foundation and committee chair.  “We envision a day when there will be a cure or vaccine for Cancer and VGTI Florida is working towards that day.”

“We are much appreciative of the effort that goes into raising this contribution and as VGTI Florida expands our therapeutic focus to include Cancer Vaccines with the addition of the new principal investigator, Dr. Keith Knutson, this donation will help fund our Cancer Research activities,” said Dr. Rafick-Pierre Sekaly, Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Director.

The Roseann Gregory Cancer Foundation has donated more than $30,000 towards their mission of “Funding a Cure” in the two years they have been in existence.  They host an Annual Gala and winetasting each year.  This year they will be adding a Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre on April 13th.
